"I aten't dead yet." -- Granny Weatherwax (Terry Pratchett)

It isn't much, but slapping gesso onto this postcard is the first time since Artfest that I've held anything resembling a paintbrush or a canvas.

Tally and I are going to do a round robin of sorts, just the two of us, using postcards. You know, this is the second time she's helped me get out of an art funk or slow period. I think we're mishpucheh by now, for many reasons. So here's a shout-out to her.

Oh, and I aten't dead yet... I have at least four more months before I have to make art with one hand while I nurse with the other and yell at The Boy to get me another martini. Kidding! I'll still be blogging and arting for awhile. So hang in there with me.

I know just what you mean! Sometimes we all need a bit of a break or a replenishing before we can dip back into creating nifty things.

And you read Discworld?

Hell yes, I read Discworld! Voraciously, insatiably. I'm getting impatient -- again -- waiting for the latest installment. But I guess I could... you know, make some art in the meantime. Something like that. ;o)

You're expecting!!!!! I wish I had known at Artfest! No wonder you wore a respirator for everything!

BTW, I popped the littlest in a sling and painted away on work for book 1! I felt like a crazy person! Oh wait, I may BE a crazy person.

LK, I resemble that remark...LOL...

Oh, good to hear about the sling and the littlest -- that's just about what I was planning to do! Still have the Baby Bjorn I used with The Boy, so I'll be set. (Come to think of it, it's probably still in my car's backseat. Two and a half years after I last used it.)
